We’ve recently launched a refreshed version of Instant EFT payment method. Now Instant EFT supports Capitec Bank and Investec payment. What's more, we've also created an automated payment option (the manual option is still available too). See below for steps on both options.
Automated Instant EFT:
When you are ready to checkout, you will be redirected to PayFast’s secure payments page.
Click the Instant EFT payment method.
Once Instant EFT has been selected, you will be prompted to choose your bank and enter your internet banking credentials.
Next, you will select the bank account from which the payment should be made and click the pay button to generate the Instant EFT payment.
To complete the transaction, you will need to confirm the payment with a one time pin or by approving a mobile authentication message sent from your bank.
A payment notification is sent as soon as the EFT has been verified. This happens instantly, so there is no delay or waiting period between you paying and the merchant receiving the funds.

Manual Instant EFT:
When you are ready to checkout, you will be redirected to PayFast’s secure payments page.
Click the Instant EFT payment method.
Once Instant EFT has been selected, you will be prompted to choose your bank.
The next page will give you a link to launch your Internet Banking.
Click this link and then click "Continue".
You will now be displayed the banking details for the bank that you need to make the payment to.
Using the launched window, you simply login to your internet banking as per normal and make a once off payment to the account details provided for the indicated amount.
Once you have done so, log out of internet banking and return to the window with the PayFast payment page and click the "Complete" button.
The system will then verify your payment has been received and complete the payment.
